I really enjoyed this movie. Is it cheesy? Is it an advertisement for HBO Max? Yes and yes, but it’s more fun than I expected it to be. Kids will undoubtedly love it, but there’s still some jokes and callbacks for older folks: the definition of family-friendly entertainment. Surprisingly, I liked this more than the original Space Jam, which I rewatched before this premiered. Highly recommend seeing this in theaters.
