So, I finally got a chance to see "Parasite" on the big screen today. After months of hearing promising comments and reviews, it's Oscar victory meant some extra showings at our local cinema. Here's my brief review. "Parasite" is a beautiful, skilfully crafted, tense, captivating, charming and tragic look at opposite sides of the class system. Great performances all round and incredible direction. Filled with shock twists and turns, crammed with thought provoking imagery and metaphors. It's simple originality is genius. It will stay with you long after you've left the cinema. 96/100 Oscar worthy indeed, well deserved.
