I don't know but I have this odd feeling that the cop will make it out alive if there will be a season 2 and since the show ended with Gi Hun going back, I am pretty sure he will join the squid game again. I was hoping for Sae byeok to at least make it out alive but her death sucked!!! Nevertheless I loved the show so much and it made me bawl my eyes out. Also this is a survival show so obviously not all main characters will make it alive but they literally had everyone dying and that plot twist man
