I really liked it. Some very cool new terminators. Good action. A great cast(Christian Bale)! And nice to see it set after the bombs have dropped. Not the same time travel,send terminators back in time schick they did for three movies before hand,and then would return to for another two movies afterwards. They really should have carried on the story after this film in the post apocalyptic world we'd been shown. The place is swarming with T800's after all.

Thought it was way to jokey and daft. No real drama or tension or threat from Gor( who's hardly in it). Could have been a great dramatic story of a man at war with the gods for failing his daughter,with bits of humour here and there. Remember how Avengers Infinity War was a serious story but with a surprising amount of comedy,coming naturally from the story. This just had every line trying desperately to be hilarious and failing 90% of the time. It got very tired,very fast, listening to yet other unfunny quip destroying any genuine drama.

Great stuff. People were clapping and cheering! In a British cinema! That's how good it was. X

Could have done with a bit more bite

I really liked it. But I had watched the others on Blu-ray in the week before I went to see it to catch up. That definitely helps with remembering who everyone is. But they can't be expected to recap everything that has happened leading up to this one. It is part ten after all. It has been said that if you haven't seen the other ones you won't have a clue what is happening. Probably true. But that is true of lots of franchises. So refresh your memory and then go and have some fun with a very enjoyable film.
