Visually, it’s great and the acting is good. But I can’t stand musicals and would have skipped this movie had I known that it would involve singing. The trailer didn’t indicate that it was a musical which I personally find misleading - there’s too much singing! I also prefer the original version + Depp’s version. The storyline(s) was meatier and the movies were more endearing and interesting.
