I found this film traumatic to watch - the scenes of vivisection were, for me, just too much. Horrible, hideous film. Waited along time for it - big disappointment. Won't go there again.

Such a sigh of relief to watch this movie - a good movie at last!!! Great story, Mark Rylance as always understated and brilliant. I would love to see this on stage - but with the exact same cast. It's the best of theatre and the best of cinema combined.
