The process and rules should be followed, not manipulated. In the final, the favourite, Aftab did not raise the wall in round 1. Yet, due to Diljit Dosanjh's theatrical intervention, he was sent into round 2, with Sanjay Sateesh and Diwakar. As per the rules, Diwakar and Sanjay should have been the finalists, in positions 1 & 2, as per votes. But this change in rules made sure that Aftab won. I'm surprised that a person of Shankar Mahadevan's stature subscribes to such biassed changes. Further, judges, in this case Diljit, should not be allowed to tweet,canvassing votes for their favorites. Why have a public vote at all? Or any due process?
