The plot is beyond depressing - only two of the characters ever get to leave the claustrophobic setting, one not in the way you would think. As for the others, they are trapped in small patterns of petty behaviors with tragic, self-imposed consequences. Despite the natural beauty, not a film I suspect supported by the Irish Tourist Board.
