I had a really great time watching this movie! After the Milla movies, I went into this with no expectations. I only saw the trailers and all I wanted was to be able to enjoy this movie without being disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. It was made with a lot of attention to detail and I found it didn't take itself too seriously. There were a couple details I could have gone without (I will not go into detail but I could have done without Lisa Trevor's role in the story though it was kinda neat they included her). Overall, it's a fun spin on a story we already know. If you're looking for an exact horrifying retelling of RE1 and 2, you will be disappointed. But if you're looking for a good time with characters you know and love and don't have Marvel-movie levels of high expectations on a modest budget, I think you'll be able to appreciate what this movie has to offer.
