Was hugely looking forward to this, but I am somewhat disappointed, yes there were elements of the original film but there were also elements from the 30 days of night film. Ben's love interest looked as if she had bigger teeth than the vampires, and that was before she was changed into one. And what the hell happened to Straker!!! He must have miffed off the producer such was his quick demise. All in all I preferred the original Salems Lot with David Soul.

Absolute tripe, Barbie was bad but this is worse. Not as bad as the Harry Film though, worst ever. Script was poor, aliens poor, one moment they cant break down a door, the next they are making tunnels and going through concrete !!!!! Not much else i can say about this, stay away.

NO SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW WOW, superb film, and based on a true story, how much that has been adapted for the big screen i don't know and i don't care. A riveting good performance by all, thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a feel of Inglorious B#stards about it. Top Notch, if you like guns, espionage , explosions and humour then this is for you. Bravo, tatty bye Old Chap !!!

****************** Spoiler Alert ****************** Love the Alien franchise with one exception, the Alien Resurrection film from the late 1990's, I hated the fact that Ripley had an alien baby, that looked like something from a Dr Who series. It was painstaking to watch. Saying that ........Alien Romulus certainly takes viewers back to the original films of a space ship and being hunted by Aliens. A slow start to a film but it winds up quickly........the ending has similarities to Alien Resurrection but with much better graphics (but still poor) albeit with a rubbish scenario. In my opinion Prometheus and Covenant are the best films, and should be watched before embarking on the 'Alien' series. In all, Alien Romulus isnt bad, but not the best.
