I enjoyed watching this. I love the theme and story, and the flow. From the first death to the last and how everything is. As this is based on Edgar Allan Poe's work, I expected this kind of environment in the show, I mean how it unfolds, how it was told. Though expected darker but it's still fine. Reminds me of the raven, well, that's the last episode. And I love the actress who played it. They did great, all of them (they're a presence in most of Mike Flanagan's movies). One of the deaths saddened me, though (not to spoil if ever you who reads this hasn't watch it yet). But a deal is a deal. For me, it's good 'cause I'm not complaining much, regardless of what other critics say. If one is into goths and dark stuff, this is a fine work to watch. Though it feels light to me. You can finish in one seating, though I had to cut into 3 parts for me due to work.
