*Spoilers Ahead* Honestly, i loved this movie. Good animation, the voice actors are strong and really show off the emotion of the characters, very dynamic action scenes, and some scenes are genuinely funny. For those who wanted peter cullen to be Optimus, hell no. It makes no sense that younger and more immature optimus prime would sound the same or even remotely similar to a seasoned and war hardened optimus 3000 years later. Sentinal prime is also really funny when he kills Alpha Trion. The reason why I rate it 3 stars is because megatrons flip from chill and a rule follower to a genocidal war maniac is only really believable if you fill in the blanks about his personality in your head. Like how he was a go with the flow type of guy who didn't really like what he had to do as a minor, but he did it anyway because he believed in the cause and looked up to sentinal, and when his trust was betrayed he essentially lost trust in anyone that required him to follow or believe in them, namely optimus as the nature of their relationship was megatron believing and trusting in optimus's blind optimism. i think the movie wouldve honestly benefited from a longer duration to flesh out megatrons descent to anger and madness as well as sentinals motivations. He says he wants all the power on cybertron but then literally is getting bitched by the other alien race for the planets resources. He also says how he hated to hear the council debate as they were losing the war, but it was never shown, jus told. Lastly, optimus's opposition to killing sentinal makes no sense when he and his allies have been killing people the whole movie. Only when it is sentinal, who arguably has the worst war crimes aside from Air-acnid, is put on the chopping block that he gains a conscious. Bee literally murders like 7 people when he learns he has knife hands.
