Venom's Box office success is purely due to the studio's reputation. This film has no character development or backstory for any character especially for Eddy Brock and the iconic symbiote Venom. Honestly very disappointing when comparing or considering the level of quality of films to date. I rate this film a 4/10 simply because of the lack of detail and poor scriptwriting which drastically reduce a potentially awesome film experience to a mediocre money maker.
