Fantastic anthology! A worthy homage to short horror stories. It’s always great to see H.P.Lovecraft stories come to life, and these adaptations do not disappoint. Only disappointment was the lack of an Edgar Allen Poe tale in there somewhere. Really well put together series very much worth your time. I hope we get more series’

Doesn’t really hit the mark. Some lovely ideas that don’t seem to be developed enough. Annoying hit detection for melee combat and the early game is slow. That being said it is quite pretty. I can’t quite separate thoughts of the Ukraine war from my experience. Nods to “China being wonderful” also leave a rotten taste in my mouth. Will play to its conclusion but it’ll be a bit of a slog. Bioshock this ain’t!

I feel like I just spent 1 1/2hrs watching a row of teenagers staring at something behind me with a gormless look on their faces. Kudos for the effects but that’s about it. Writing, acting and directing were all well below par. Not a patch on the originals. Even the 2013 reboot blew this one out of the water. Deadites got dead boring. Ash where were you?

Fair few hours played (40+) with a couple of classes. It’s not bad at all but I feel like I’m grinding at a very early stage. It’s hit and miss that you find a balance of skills/weapons that are good, and if you can’t figure out anything too effective, then you’ll get recommendations online which can fit your play style. You can respec pretty much whenever so you’re not locked in, but I’d say it doesn’t really matter…. You will play a similar routine whatever situation you get into. (On Xbox - RT, X, LT, B,A,Y for a random silly example and you never really deviate when it hits the right spot). The world looks great but the enemies become dull. I pine for a view of the sky, although I get that thats not what this game is about. Top down action. I’d love a moving camera to see the world better. That’d clinch it for me. I don’t think it’s worth what I paid for it. I’m grinding for nothing in particular and whatever customisation is available be it through finding special loot to upgrading my current gear, it doesn’t seem to make much difference… Give me Dark Souls etc any day. 🙃

Goodness me, just finished this (wish I’d stopped sooner). Poor writing, stupid decisions made by the characters all the way through, and far too long. Never thought much to Dr Who and Steven Moffat has not done himself any favours with this sub-par offering.
