I watched this movie for a second time. And was able to see even more clearly, the two brilliant acting performances of Robert Duvall and Robert Downey jr.. They conveyed with such sensitivity, the very sweet but very difficult relationship, of a father and his son. There's lots more going on in the movie . But this complicated, and very human relationship, is the emotional beauty of the film.

Well . You get your money's worth !. This is a big budget movie , Yup .There's plenty of sets, amazing costumes, special effects, lots of extras and actors. Biggest problem for me is it's too long. Some of the performances are great But this is a movie to read the review 1st before you go. And if you like the subject matter? Then you know what's ahead.
