I completely misjudged this album during the first listen. This is a grower album; it takes a few other listens to get used to how it sounds sonically. The main problem is that it is too long (quality/quantity is what matters!) and that's why a lot people are complaining that it sounds mostly the same. I managed to make my own playlist cutting the Anthology down in half from 31 songs to 17 songs, and I recommend doing the same with the songs that stood out to you if you're uneasy about this album. The majority of these songs on here are bops, similar to evermore/folklore/Midnights/1989 days and helped me appreciate the album for what it is: an album of songs expressing her vulnerability after dealing with 6 year heartbreak and new love life while being in spotlight during the Eras tour.
