This was clearly worked on, but... Just with how things are, it's not too enjoyable outside of being biased to the series. The worst of it was how the novel / interaction part was handled, it doesn't really try to keep anything interesting but it's also an extreme amount of loading screens which are responsible for my first run taking a full day. It also feels like some deaths are just forced because I had Ryo pretty good for the initial chapter and the next he's just... "mommy mommy dommy mommy" getting himself killed as a result and without listening to anything. Shuuji just kickboxed Lop until he got VORED without any form of influence seemingly able to be done... I guess it's not tied to Affinity for that and it's just the route instead, with Affinity being a magic concept that enables you to somehow save them at endgame. Opening the map is by effect the same as leaving the area, once it is opened you have to reload the area again for whatever reason instead of being able to put it away. Overall I guess I feel like they delayed it intentionally just to make it seem worked on because the content does not play or last in a way you would expect from so many years of development. I was interested initially but with everything just being more like a dating sim where people die rather than a Digimon game it just didn't feel worth it in the end. Edit: Now that I realize they NEVER refer to them as digimon even in hint or tutorial texts, so I guess that means something.
