As a feeling, this movie can only be described as one of those days- when you are crying with all your heart but then look up and see the beautiful night sky, with full moon and stars and feel weirdly sad but content. This movie is melancholy not through spoken sentences but rather through its visuals and unique expressions by the leads in the movie. I don't think I will forget Jagan's anguish on his Tanpura, after dedicating his life to his skill nor Qala holding on to his leg looking lost.
Swastika was stunning with her voice and posture serene. The character was very binding throughout and kept me wanting to know her thoughts and her backstory. Varun was a surprising addition (which made me very happy). I felt he did justice to the few minutes he did appear with his beautiful hands. <3
But I do feel the end was unnecessary. All in all, this movie is going to be one which I shall watch again and again.
