I think that the movie was a terrible representation of the book. There were many important parts from the book left out, including a lot of character development AND CHARACTERS in general. The movie had very little context compared to the book and many of the event’s did not line up. The only decent part of the movie was the court trial, it was how the book had described it although it had been shortened a little, it was mostly there. The movie was also filmed in black and white however there was color television and production available during the 1960’s when the movie was made. OVERALL THE MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE. ACTING SUCKED, DID A HORRIBLE JOB TELLING THE STORY, MISSED KEY PARTS, AND IT WAS FILMED IN BLACK AND WHITE. TERRIBLE!
