Without an actual tutorial level the controls seem alien, without any character customization your character feels like a line of code, and the zombie model and AI movement is mediocre.

I really enjoy the survival aspect of this game. It’s very unique and more realistic that most survival games. Food is scare but water is really easy to get because you can melt snow by a fire place and harvest it at a later time. The visuals are really well done and the audio of blizzards and fires crackling makes me start to feel like I’m actually in the world. The part I hate about this game is combat and exploration. To start off you really have to carefully choose what you need and what you don’t. Your inventory space is based on how much the items you are carrying weigh instead of a set number of items you can carry. When your pack goes over the limit you develop a high risk of a sprain. A hand sprain will result in your character not being able to use two handed weapons and a foot sprain will cause your character to slow down tremendously. Your characters movement speed in itself is way too slow. The story makes you travel distances that take what feels like hours in real life. To my second point combat could be a lot better. You can’t swing a one handed weapon at them like an axe or a hunting knife. Instead you have to shoot predators or wait for them to jump on you so that you can use an item in your inventory to get them off of you. (knife, axe, hands, etc.) There are jerry cans in this game that contain fuel. Why not add a vehicle in this game to give those a use and speed up exploration? Another good improvement would be giving the player the ability to equip a knife or an axe as a weapon so that every battle doesn’t feel like your on the defensive side

I think the reviews that this game is getting right now are unreasonably low. I have been playing this game non stop since my purchase of it and I’ve had continuous fun the entire time. The reason you may of noticed I gave it 4 stars is due to the voice actor of Mr.Krabs and the visual display on my tv. There’s no option to change the border of the game in the settings and I can barely see the bottom buttons that show up during dialog and when you go to the gates that change the area you’re in. Other than Mr.Krabs though, the rest of the voice acting is pretty spot on. If it gave me the option to give a 4.5/5 I would because I don’t believe a screen error and one bad voice actor should subtract and entire star. I really enjoy this game and appreciate the reverence’s to the actual tv show as well. There’s paintings you can find in some of the characters houses that are scenes from the actual show. An example of this is in spongebobs bedroom. There’s a couple paintings of him from the actual show. I would only say this game lacks in one singular voice actor, every other aspect of the game is great. The world design, level design, graphics, general dialog, combat dialog, character designs, and character swapping at the bus stops are all fantastic. Loading screens aren’t too long either and loading the new areas textures as you travel into them are all at a minimum. Very great game 4.5/5.

I’m decently surprised that this game has such high reviews. I love the game Stardew Valley and I was hearing that this game was a lot like it but I don’t see any resemblance at all. On Ps4 (and I’ve heard on PC) the audio of conversations just doesn’t trigger and it just goes silent. You have to endure a loading screen every time you go into a building and those get really annoying, you have to pay in game currency to go mining, combat is mediocre, getting the citizens to like you is extremely difficult, resources are harder to get than they should be, and you can’t actually dig in the ground to farm. You have to buy or craft planting pots and the pots only hold one plant at a time. Money is also very hard to come by without doing quests which doesn’t sound like a huge issue but it is. Grinding out on only quests day after day seems to be the only way to make a living. This game just seems like a free version of Stardew valley on the App Store. Very disappointed

This game looks like a mobile game, lags constantly, is the only open world game I know of without a set story, and the combat is a joke.

this movie has a solid soundtrack and good special effects. I can’t help but say though that similar to the Star Wars series, Disney has yet again made a sequel to a great moive that shouldn’t have been made.

So far this game is outstanding. The swarms are absolutely massive and actually require strategy to control. I’ve only ran into one flaw which is, very rarely, zombies sometimes spawn right in front of you out of the blue. I can be understanding of that glitch though because of how many zombies that need to be rendered in. Fantastic game I love it

This is a very predictable game and combat isn’t fun at all. The only fun I had the entire time was the parkour and even then everything collapses and breaks at the very moment you decide to start scaling the areas of the game. The story also doesn’t do a very good job of making the player care about the Croft family. Near the end of the game I just dragged myself through it to see if it would get better and it didn’t. I ended up not caring about the Croft family as a whole because I wasn’t given the entire backstory of why Mr.Croft was so obsessed with finding the Divine Source and if I was it was presented in such a dull way that I already forgot. I also don’t understand how the main villain girl in the game *SPOILER* was already sick to begin with and THEN proceeded to receive a direct shot from a pistol to her arm and just immediately recover from it in the next scene?! *END OF SPOILER*. I’d say this is one of the lower quality Naughty Dog games. Even though I got it for a whopping price of $0.00 I still feel like I was scammed. Can’t wait to play the Last of Us 2 now!

I preordered this game and waited and hyped myself up for this game for about 2 or 1 month(s). I’m not entirely sure why this game is receiving poor reviews because I genuinely enjoy this game. It’s not 10/10 material but it’s definitely not below a 7. Struggle of surviving is really presented in a challenging, yet fun, way. There aren’t any groundbreaking aspects of this game that really make it stand out but it is comparable to other AAA titles like The Last of Us and the Farcry series. It’s nothing new, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. 8/10 from me.
