Unfortunately disappointing.
It’s been a long time since a decent K9 movie has been made (probably nothing really since K9 itself!) so I was really keeping everything crossed for this and the trailers certainly seemed positive.
But the movie itself is disjointed and bumbling. The plot-line becomes so fanciful I started wondering if it was all going to be part of a coma induced dream of the main character (that would probably have made more sense)
The foundation was set for a quality revenge movie for a cop who lost his K9 partner and gets a new buddy with the troubled K9 partner “Sox”, and what we got was a cops who without any teal reasonlike each other- then hate each other- then like each other
Finding drug dens far too easily and stealing dealers trucks which apparently cops just leave police tape wrapped round but leave them with keys inside!?
Cops turning up as backup with M82 sniper cannons!?
And an underlying story of just dogs being commanded in German (which is pretty common practice).
A real shame.
