I'm a brand new fan of The Sandman and after having watched the series I can't wait to read the comics. Everything about the show was amazing to me and well-done. I only wish there were more episodes to watch! It felt like a lot of love was put into making each episode. There was so much to devour and take in, the story telling and world building was incredible. Episode 5 was unlike anything else I've watched on tv as of late, it was chilling and different. Also, I really really enjoyed The Corinthian as an antagonist. I also read reviews before watching and was surprised by how many of the comic readers loved the show as that's so unusual for a book to show adaption. Let's not forget Tom Sturridge's dreamy voice either, now that is something to daydream about.
