This movie was beautifully filmed and the sets and costumes were impressive; in these respects the film didn’t seem “low budget” The storyline is very inspiring although some brief explanation why the missionaries were penniless and their whereabouts (cities) completely unknown would have helped.
The acting quality varied and the musical score was redundant, but there was a good balance between tension and humor. There were very touching moments that felt sincere.
The photos and life synopses at the end were a real bonus.
I recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys being inspired by true events in the LDS genre. It is entertaining and family friendly.
