Just what do people who gave negative reviews expect from this real-life based movie? Real life stories can be boring. So yes the movie might seem boring to some viewers, but when you watch very carefully, you can feel the characters' emotions - struggles, love, etc. I watched it twice because I wanted to understand what the director is trying to tell me. I laughed and cried as I watched it. Sure It might not be as exciting as action, crime, and thriller movies, but I thought it was a great movie itself. I recommend this to people who are seeking to feel subtleness of the plot and want to learn human emotions and life of an Asian immigrant family.
