This is based on Elmore Leonard's book City Primevil which is not a Raylan Givens novel. Not sure why they chose this story and inserted Givens in as the lawman but it explains why it has a different flavor than Justified. Nothing is going to be as good as the original but I still liked and enjoyed it in its own right. Timothy Olyphant is perfect. Still entertaining. And I am hoping this miniseries gets positive reviews so they do one more which looks like it would be more in line with the original.
