I've watched thisversion of A Christmas Carol since it debuted in 1984. My favorite version by far. Perfect casting, beautiful music and cinematography, convincing set design and costuming true to the period. The special effects look a bit cheesy by today's standards, but it's easy to overlook. A classic.
