Although the issue of dowry remains a constant threat in the society, this kind of movie was not required. It seemed like it to took us back to 90s. The story could have focused more on how brothers and other males in the family are burdened with the responsibility of marrying off their sisters and daughters. This is 2022 and we need to talk more about how women suffer because men are still expected to be their caretakers not supporters.
