It's a stupid show with many plotholes. Good for dumb entertainment. I put it on and then do something else. Most of the jokes fall flat but some of it is funny. All the characters (except for Phil/Tandy) are compelling. I like Carol but I know that's not very popular. Towards the end it seems like they're killing off characters just because they got bored. Phil's character development was way too sudden in my opinion. And it was annoying for him to just be flailing around stupidly in the first two seasons. I kept wishing he would just die and be replaced by a more interesting character. I feel like all the interesting plot points they had were just let go within a few episodes. Like Phil and Carol's seperation, or Mike's adventures. So much was just skipped. And it doesn't feel like a post-apocalyptic show - it just feels like all of the people except the cast vanished. They just brush over issues with food, mold, malnutrition, illness, gas, insanity or weather. Some characters do go crazy but most of them stay sane even despite the isolation. Long story short, if you're really bored or feel like switching your brain off, go for it.
