I watched this because I read an article stating what a magnificent achievement it was to have made this film for $30,000. Maybe that's true. That doesn't make it a good film It is filled with Easter eggs. Which is just another way of saying hints of other movies that have come before. I think Easter eggs are lazy and used by untalented writers. There are "Easter eggs" to the shining .the thing, alien etc. films that are about 40 years old ,or more. Think of a real Easter egg and how much you would want it after 40 years. Aside from these Easter eggs, there is very little plot. What there is doesn't make too much sense. I'm more about nutshells ,And I just gave you this movie in one.

Christopher nolens films have never done much for me. This one is no exception. Christopher Nolan's films are usually more about glorifying Christopher Nolan than anything else. Many of the actors are wasted on this film. Performances are fine but there isn't enough of any one of them. Killian Murphy seems to be channeling Frank Langela through most of the film. Also he is a bit too Long in the tooth to be playing a college student.

One of the very few Really good horror movies to come out in the past 3 years. Who cares if there was a writers strike they have been quietly quitting for a long while now

Takes all the tropes of an usual exorcist movie. Dresses them up a bit . No real surprises or scares as everything done i.n this movie was done the exorcist and better Russell crowe's okay. This is not a bad movie but is not a good movie either-or

Ooooh somebody got some special effects software for Christmas! Unfortunately they had no idea what to do with it. Filled with pretty colors. Unfortunately the only thing that sucks more than the flying saucer is this movie. Jordan Peele ate a can of Kodak on the old town road and crapped out this colorful splatter
