How do you ruin one of the most iconic lines in the entirety of star wars? Does Disney even care about the story up to this point or are they just making stuff up to feed their agenda? ***SPOILERS BELOW*** Obi wan is one of the most cunning generals of the clone wars and knows how to lead through other people. He would not need to personally save Leia, he would find a way to work from the shadows. But let's ignore that for a moment. If Leia is rescued from kidnappers by Obi wan, then why would she have said "you once served my father in the clone wars"... She would have just saw I'd "you once saved me from kidnappers and I could use your help again". I honestly can't believe Disney ruined that. Next we are going to find out that Padme had an affair and Vader isn't the father of Luke/Leia.
