I don't usually like remakes as much as the original classics. They typically lose their luster. But West Side Story is the exception for me. I loved it, thought it was well made and it was as good as watching for the first time. Didn't feel like a remake. The cast did an amazing job and kudos to Rita Moreno on a wonderful portrayal of Docs wife. Bravo!!
