Whilst the information was very inclusive with the investigation in general the lack of transparency regarding the audio tapes was shameful. Women died because the Senior investigating officer dictated that any suspect who wasn’t a “Geordie “ was ruled out , this despite the fact that witnesses clearly stated the attacker was a local man ! Shameful !!
