Kept Frozen

The movie is clearly rushed lol. The movie was rushed just like the characters were rushing in the film. Much respect to Disney, but the films could have been better if shot for a mature audience. I would've liked to have seen a more "dark and ominous" feel of the film with the cinematography illustrating the emotion/tone of the scenes similar to how Roger Deakin's Blade Runner 2049. They should've went the route of making a Part 1 and Part 2.

I don’t do movie reviews but goodness gracious I couldn’t hold it anymore. The lack of ‘common of sense’ in this movie blows my mind. *spoilers* First of all, why aren’t they using silencers on their guns? They can use their pistols or some other form of noise to attract zombies if they wanted. The cinematography is horrendous; why is there so much Shallow Depth of Field??? I was finding myself annoyed, my eyes feeling discomfort, and I trying to figure out if this was a zombie movie, heist movie, comedy, I don’t know what to call it, but it was doing too much. I really wish there was more wide angle shots. The creativity is in the story but there’s zero creativity in the cinematography. You can still captivate a mood and story if you shoot wide and symmetrical. Would’ve loved to see shots from an air vent trailing the subjects or something. I wish Synder had a clearer story and better shots.

The still shots in this are mesmerizing, getting a creative look into a dystopian future of LA was wild yet amazing. I watched the first one before I watch this one and love the cinematography on this one a lot! I’m fond of movies where there isn’t much said from the character(s) and you understand what’s going on.
