Probably the absolute WORSE James Bond film ever made, which is a sad admission since I was looking forward to it. Sadly, the whole thing is a total lemon which is an understatement. The screenplay is plain awful and the directing no better. Hans Zimmer couldn't even save it with his beautiful film music. The only thing worth to see in the entire film, and the only scenes that remind you of a Bond film, are the scenes from the beautiful Italian village and the car race which is shown in all the adverts for the film. From then on it goes downhill and there is really nothing worthy to stay for the duration of the film.
Craig's character in this new adapation of Bond is not even the James Bond we are used to anymore, but some other character who tries to figure out how to fly a plane, who needs guided earpieace to figure out what's happening, who is weak and whimpering, who holds multiple tedious monologues on psychological analysis about his new fling, and the tragic childhood traumas that apparently create bad villains. The charm and quick wit is not there to be found anywhere. Yes, it's really THAT BAD and they've completely destroyed Bond as we know him. After all, they need to write a woke script that pleases the easily offended liberals.
The film was so bad that halfway through a handful of people started walking out and many struggled to keep awake to the rest of the tedious monologues - sorry, - story. Even killing Bond off in the end doesn't save the film. And Bond 'falling in love' with a bored little kid within hours of meeting her (which, of course, must be his to make sure the script is 'woke' enough to please the easily offended) can't save this disaster either. The kid looked as dull and bored in all the takes as the audience having to live through this drudge of a lemon. The woke nonsense have gone to such extremes that the new 007 title must be held by..... a black female! Wow, what unique high-quality story telling.
This is probably one of the worse screenplays of the decade. And even Craig, at times, seem to struggle with the script and doesn't seem to know where to take his boring new "Bond" character. He feels almost lost which is not the case in his other Bond films.
That was 2hrs wasted of my life I will never get back. I wish I could at least get my £21 back.
