This show is incredible. I think it's hysterical all the people here, "I watched 10 seconds of this and they OBVIOUSLY changed the story line and now I have ALS!" Too bad you didn't get to E7, where you would have surely been placated. Your loss! Try actually watching the things you review. Anyway, everything about this show is awesome. As far as it being too dark for kids, let's not forget the original movie gave more than a few of us nightmares (Garthim, Essence, them rending Chamberlain limb from limb, all in the original movie). This is well written, well performed, intense storytelling. And yes it fits perfectly with the original movie (but you have to watch more than 10 seconds).
