It was nothing like the book, and its like I'm asking for a one to one recreation. The best adaptations make changes for the better, for example The Last of Us TV show adaptation, but the movie didn't feel like an adaptation, it felt like fanfiction.

This show was my childhood, I only have vague memories of it, but the ones that exist are fond. I don't even remember the characters names, plot, or the villaina, but all I remember is that the dog can turn into a dinosaur so that's kind of cool.
