Among the many 9/11 docs, this is one of the best. No voice over, just the people who were there and lots of archival footage telling the story of this horrific and never to be forgotten day. Only problem is how jarring ad breaks are in documentaries like this.

Gripping! But no way would I want to live in that sterile box of a house (plus I’d break the messiness rule by the first evening!)

So disappointing how any movie that has a feminist agenda gets 1 starred all the time… For me, this was enormous fun and dared to suggest the world is still full of inequality. It did it with verve and humour and colour and I loved it!

I like Nolan, I’m fascinated by the Oppenheimer/Manhattan project story. Love the cast… but this film was a disappointment. The movie is just too long and has too many scenes of men with agendas talking. The final hour is pretty much a melange of legal cases/ investigations and just drags! It is very much an examination of Oppenheimer and the men plotting against him while I was hoping for more about the political and scientific journey. Great actors impress, Pugh and Blunt are the only female roles of note and get a couple of scenes but did we really need that much of Pugh’s breasts? Three hours is too long for a story that could have been done in two.
