Just bad and unbelievable. The story had the premise to be believable but it really REALLY wasn’t. Waring ex partners who hate one another so much they’ve blocked each other suddenly become best friends over the course of a couple of days. Not to mention they let their hatred for each other vomit all over the conversations they have with their daughter - decent parents would never do that. There’s more but I’ve wasted enough of my life on this movie already 😆 The best part was the outtakes at the end 🙈

I really enjoyed it! I didn’t necessarily believe the romance between Nicole & Zac (mainly because when they kiss it looks uncomfortable, zero passion at all) however, there were moments i genuinely laughed out loud 😆 Zac Efron is a far better actor than he gets credit for and he delivers lines with exceptional comedic timing. Joey King is equally talented and very good at comedy. Nicole Kidman, hmmm, I don’t know. I just don’t think she was the right one for the part but she act the emotive scenes with her usual brilliance. All in all it’s genuinely worth a watch, some really funny moments and witty lines.

Oh my god the acting was like year 11 drama in school. The cinematography was DREADFUL (how many slow mo clips with inspirational music can you fit into 90 minutes?) The scrip was rotten but the most laughable thing, and it truly was hysterical, is the guy who’s meant to be English 😂 I didn’t realise he was supposed to be English until one of the other ‘actors’ said something like ‘you say it, it sounds nicer in an English accent’. Well blow me down with a feather, I nearly spat out my tea 😆 Dick Van Dyke no longer holds the award for worst English accent in a movie! What a shame as it had a lot of potential….watch it for banter, it’ll make you giggle.
