Definitely not a patch on the original Gladiator movie. I grew tired of all the fighting and violence very quickly, Denzel was the highlight and played his part very well. The other actors and characters were one dimensional, The story seemed very disjointed and a mish-mash of single stories squished together. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

Amazing story of love and determination. Goes to show how quickly life can be turned upside down. Such an amazing family and so much love.

Actually I quite enjoyed watching this movie at home. The plot is certainly different, and I loved that it was British as opposed to American. The big down side was the background sound effects- the bongo drums, the recorder & the other non identifiable racket!!!
