A must watch if you enjoy Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie books or just mystery in general. I ate this movie up, practically inhaled it. Nothing like the classic combo of a quirky famous detective, a group of suspects and an impossible murder. This movie is a bit slow at first, but it shouldn’t bother you if you’re in it for the charm. Grab yourself a cup of tea and enjoy.

Both Knives Out movies remind me specifically of mystery books. The charm that comes with that one quirky famous detective, a group of suspects and one ridiculous murder. Like the first one, this one is filled with small details that are fun to look out for. The tone is neither serious nor humorous, just a perfect in-between. Daniel Craig is unsurprisingly excellent and keeps you hooked every minute. Unlike the first one, this one is a little faster paced. The mystery is nothing overly complex, but the storytelling is what steals the show. If you like Agatha Christie, you might love this.

This movie is basically an English translation of the Danish film with the same name. The movie is great, but more credit goes to the original.
