Both Knives Out movies remind me specifically of mystery books. The charm that comes with that one quirky famous detective, a group of suspects and one ridiculous murder.
Like the first one, this one is filled with small details that are fun to look out for. The tone is neither serious nor humorous, just a perfect in-between. Daniel Craig is unsurprisingly excellent and keeps you hooked every minute.
Unlike the first one, this one is a little faster paced. The mystery is nothing overly complex, but the storytelling is what steals the show. If you like Agatha Christie, you might love this.
