Overall it was funny, enjoyable and, overlooking the very un-politically correct thread that ran through the obviously misogynistic mind of Chuck Lorre, was always worth the time. The one drawback for me was 'Rose'. I never understood her character or her tenure in the series. She was not attractive and seemed nothing like the women Charlie would go after. I seriously began to think she was a relative of one of the producers to whom Lorre owed a debt and casting her was his way of paying it off. She appeared in every season of the series, something no other women Charlie dated ever did. She wasn't funny; She wasn't a particularly good actress and, if her character was never introduced into the series, it would have sailed along very well on its own. It got to the point I wouldn't watch episodes she was in.
