Another job well done by Christopher Nolan. The movie - 'Oppenheimer' doesn't just show the testing of the world's first nuclear atomic bomb, instead, it shows the politics behind it and the mental state of Robert Oppenheimer before, during, and after the creation of the deadly and monstrous weapon. The movie is inspired by the book - 'American Prometheus'. It exhibits an accurate comparison between Prometheus, the man who gave people fire (a way to destroy themselves), and Julius Robert Oppenheimer, the man who gave people possession of a weapon that would indeed end up destroying and tarnishing mankind. The movie shows to its viewers the mental state of Oppenheimer throughout the 3-year process of the creation of the bomb in a rather graphic way, not in terms of blood, gore, or violence, but in terms of severe mental instability and unpredictability. It also delivers an astounding climax that is enriched by both Christopher Nolan's filmmaking and Cillian Murphy's expressions.
