Just tried it for the first time yesterday. I enjoyed myself a lot. I play a ton of shooters of various style and difficulty and can usually compete with the sweatier folks . What grabbed me about this game is the unique squad system . Creating, lvling, gearing and progressing an ai squad to roll with you is super neat . The AI is not intelligent unfortunately they tend to mimic wut you do at any given time . But there are some limited commands that can help place them slightly more strategically. You can swap to any member of the squad who is alive at any time . Or take over one after you die as an individual member. Ppl who say it's pay to win probably aren't the best at shooters . My first two games I played online I had over 50 kills with base gear each game . I don't spend money on free to plays so no I didn't buy any guns . I also enjoy progressions systems, it keeps me entertained personally and I don't need the better gun to compete . I haven't unlocked any guns but after hitting lvl 4 on the free battle pass and having played several matches I don't feel at any sort of disadvantage playing free. I enjoy the TTK in this game , usually one rifle shot kills a guy and at least probably downed him . The tanks have some serious reload times so you have to position yourself smartly . I think the only down fall in this game would be the AI for the squad . If they could buff that up to play like decent players would that would be incredible . Give the game a try . The tutorial is clunky as hell But the online battles are pretty dang fun. Crank the volume up learn how to use and play with your squad and nerd out over turning your random soldier into a hero on the battlefield. Some shooters I enjoy on the regular are apex legends, battlefield 1,5,2042. Rainbow six siege, pubg tdm, halo infinite. Looking for more realistic audio visual and gunplay mechanics now adays .
