This drama really takes you deeper into a lot of things including the historical era ,painting and the mind of a painter not to mention the great story telling and interesting drama .it’s a 10/10 for me .This series really did it for me and it’s a must watch

If you are someone like me who has literally watched every show don’t watch this ,even the ending is mid and the acting is slow . I read previous comments and it convinced me to check it out never doing that again.I was waiting and waiting for the spark in the film and I didn’t see anything or feel the plot or anything it just mid and actually annoying .

watching this film made me realise that so many people are locked in a box with no key for so long that they wouldn’t realise it unless trapped in a difficult situation whereby requiring them to break the KEYLESS box . Gerald’s game is exactly that ,the main character never expected the fact that she has been lying to herself for a very long time and that lie created a problem controlling her own existence Great story telling ,love the acting too and also every detail including that stray dog which feels metaphorically in the sense that all our problems have a time limit and we have to solve them before they attack or destroy us . My favourite scene was the ending when she looked at all her abusers and darkest fear right in the eye and felt FREEDOM I love this movie And the letter to her younger self brilliant because it’s truly only us that can help ourselves no one else .
