If I could give 0 stars I would. This book is just so bad. I was forced to read it for AP Lang summer homework and I hated it more and more with every page that I had to read. I don't know why anyone would want to waste their time reading this horrible miserable book that is literally just about horrible miserable people. I can't express to you the horror that I felt when my AP Lang teacher expressed how romantic this book was to her. If cheating on your spouse with their way too young for you cousin, because you feel like they are the only person you can get with, and then attempt an unsuccessful double suicide with said cousin, is the height of romance to you then I don't wanna know how your marriage at home is.
