This is a multiplayer review: Server issues, constant de-sync, being booted from games (I have Gb/s DL and UL bandwidth), not matching with squad in big team, boring 4v4 maps, completely ignorant player base... 343 You have attracted the bottom feeders to the greatest game franchise in history, congratulations. Yes, you got well deserved exposure, but you got it on the worst halo game of the big 7. Weapons are terrible, shotgun is a shell of it's former self, sniper is unsatisfying to shoot, needler is equally unsatisfying with way different mechanics than every past halo, plasma pistol lock on is virtually non existent, magnum is a fast firing equivalent of a bb gun... takes basically a whole clip to kill someone even with headshots and then since you can't move in this game you have to take the death to the AR spraying noob. AR is meta in 4v4 especially certain maps... the game has completely morphed into a spray, pray and melee game for everything except ranked arena. movement is so limited in comparison to H5 that it's laughable, is this really the next halo or am I having a bad dream? My friend said it best that if this was a sequel to Halo 3 (but came before reach) that this wouldn't be such a poorly designed game, but it's 2021 and this is a total step backwards... Thank you for removing boost, stabilizer, spartan charge, ground pound, and sharpshooting Magnum firefights. It's what everyone wanted. Ranked arena wouldn't be so bad if the net code wasn't so poor, but it is and it is. Even if that was fixed the simple lack of ability to escape a pursuing attacker while your shields are broken from fighting/prevailing against someone else is incredibly frustrating. You may as well just stand still and take it. Oh and don't dare tell me that you don't think nades are a problem. That's embarrassing... We may have finally reached the game (due to lack of movement and strength of AR and nades) where it is time to remove nades as default item and make it on spawn points only... Either that or reduce the blast radius and damage. Seriously. I really wish I could still play H5, but it's incredibly hard to matchmake on that right now. I am truly disappointed 343. If this wasn't free to play, I may just have requested a refund like I did with battlefield... So take some consolation in the fact that it's not battlefield bad, but it's bad. I truly don't mean to be harsh, but I do care deeply about this franchise and have been playing it for 20 years. Now I'm at a point where it may be time to put halo away...at least until it improves or there's a better sequel in 6 years since that's how long it takes 343 to put out an unfinished game apparently...
