Frozen 2 is the only sequel I've seen that is better than the original movie. It's an intensely beautiful,, smart, and funny movie with depth. I am baffled that it has received luke warm reviews, but I do think that the theme of women finding their strength and the bond of sisterhood doesn't resonate for many male reviewers. I also suspect some of the references may have been lost on some reviewers who missed the humor in the hilarious "lost in woods" power ballad. The message of equity, reparations, and caring for our planet defied tired tropes. It's one of the best films I've seen in a long time.
