A wonderful brooding exotic story, magnificently acted and photographed in b/w making Rome, especially its many many steps, a central part of the plot. The producers however would have been better served by only making it only 6 episodes...

A black comedy probably made for the US market it is none the less well acted and scripted and decidedly watchable.

Well acted by a very skilled cast however the story line jumped back and forth too frequently to provide a even narrative. Kidman at timed lapsed into her Australian accent but otherwise masterful as always.

Well plotted, well written, well acted. A very thoughtful and in part frightening film.

A true shocker....a wonderful cast seemingly going through a table read of the script . Michael Caine delivers a very poor impression of a Michael Caine.

A beautiful little film superbly paced and scripted. The two lead acters deliver a thoroughly convincing portrail of two immensely iconic and loveable characters.

Good story, a bit labored in the telling, pity it was shot in shadow in most scenes..

A beautifully crafted and phographed drama although the pace tends to drag at times. In many ways it is a a very effective anti war movie.

Beautifully produced, scripted, acted and photographed. The cast universally play their roles with aplomb and believability.
The spotlight is not exclusively focused of the Queen but rather on the signal events effecting her reign.
The overall picture of this royal family is in many ways a gift for those hoping for an Australian republic.
