I'm not qualified to give a proper review. However I feel like the movie could have built more suspense and let the horror speak for itself. Instead everything is thrown in our faces constantly always with a blaring horror sound cue to tell us what we already know, it's scary. Watching it in theater I found myself really wishing that they eased up on the constant and loud sound cues to try and amplify the experience and rather simply let the disturbing moments speak for themselves.
