(THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS) Personally I thought the game was alright but definitely not as great as the first one was. It was good story telling, with fast paced events, meaningful relationships, and character development. However I have one main issue with this game, and it is the same issues many people feel the same about. Early on in the game, Joel dies in the very first scene that we see him in and it just seemed like a really rushed and last minute decision to make the story line move along. In the first game we grew to see Joel as the hero and he is seemingly invisible. He wasn't even able to take up much of a fight and we see him as helpless and weak which just seemed like a big slap in the face since he was able to overcome way more difficult situations before. I don't know, I guess part of the game just felt lazy and rushed to me.
